First of all she is right... It IS an involuntary which means it doesn't involve your consciousness to work, you're not moving it like a cat moves its tail, like she said it's moving on its own.. also for those of use saying you could hold it, it's mostly on how you breathe which is your lungs or stomach(your core). 🎉 Now you know!

Unlike a lot of act he actually sang live, I know many of them are a bit scared to do it because they don't get proper time for sound checks etc. I remember when the black eyed peas sang live and it was AWFUL!! so Madonna ended up miming her whole show which was totally fine with me. I do think this show could have been shot a bit better, maybe add more drone shots or something but overall great performance.

Sounds like a nice exercise, but I'm not quite sure how to do the rasp thing. From what I've learned by youtube vocal coaches, you're supposed to go into your mixed voice while doing vocal fry and holding back your breath, except that sounds horrible when I do it. Perhaps because to me mixed voice is really just a smooth transition between head and chest voice, not really sure if it's supposed to feel differently, but let's say what I'm trying to do is maintain vocal fry on relatively high note while not using much air. What it ends up sounding like is a 70 year old grandma with asthma trying to sing.
